This is a very pretty counter height dining table and chairs.I was very happy that the color was more of a rich darker color than shown in the picture.I took a snapshot with flash of the set after it was put together, and it showed the same as in the picture on Amazon.If you are looking for a darker wood, do not discount this.It just matches the color and style of my coffee and end tables.I am very pleased with the quality of the set for the price, and I have ordered two more chairs.It took awhile to put it all together, and I had help from my brother.The instructionsare clear, but it doesn’t state that you have to place the base a certain direction so that the top of the base pieces fit properly for the holes. Of course, if you look carefully at the picture in the instructions, you can see the direction.Make sure to screw off the plastic end tips on the already placed screws before trying to assemble.The cushions on the chairs are soft and comfortable and a neutral dark taupe.The customer service was outstanding when I emailed them.I got an automatic response they received my email and then I got a personal email later on.

Nice dining set. Upon receiving the set the color advertised was not the same at all. And there were no screws to put the chair and table together. I quess they forgot to ship it.
